Tarikh-e Qum (The History of Qum) is a renowned historical book written in Arabic in 988 CE by Hasan bin Muhammad Hasan al-Qummi, a local Shi’ite scholar and member of the Ash’ari tribe, who were influential in Qum's history. The original Arabic manuscript is lost, but a 15th-century Persian translation survives and is considered one of the most reliable sources on the city of Qum’s early and medieval history.
