“Iḥqāq al-Ḥaqq wa Izhaq al-Bāṭil” (translated as “Establishing Truth and Dispelling Falsehood” in English) is a theological work authored by Qadi Nur Allah Shushtari, a prominent scholar within the Shi’a tradition. Shushtari, who passed away in 1019/1610, penned this text to articulate and defend the concepts of guardianship and imamate ascribed to Imam Ali (a), as well as to elucidate various theological tenets upheld by the Shi’a school of thought. Additionally, the book serves to refute the arguments presented in “Ibtal nahj al-batil wa ihmal kashf al-‘atil,” authored by Fadl Allah Amin, son of Ruzbihan b. Fadl Allah Khunji Shirazi Isfahani, a prominent figure within the Shafi’i tradition.

 احقاق الحق ایک عقائدی کتاب ہے جو قاضی نور اللہ شوشتری نے تصنیف کی ہے۔ وہ شیعہ فقیہ کے اعلیٰ علماء میں سے ایک تھے جنہوں نے 1019/1610 میں انتقال کیا۔ انہوں نے یہ کتاب امام علی (ع) کی نگہبانی اور امامت کی تفسیر کے لئے لکھی، اور شیعہ فکری اور عقائدی خیالات کو بیان کرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ “اِزهاق الباطِل و اِزهاق الباطِل” کے لکھنے والے فضل اللہ امین کے دلائل کو مسترد کرنے کے لئے بھی استعمال کی ہے۔ فضل اللہ امین، رزبھان بن فضل اللہ خنجی شیرازی اصفہانی کے بیٹے اور ایک بڑے شافعی عالم تھے۔
