This book is the Urdu Translation of Maqtal e Luhoof,  An authentic and detailed account of the Tragedy of Karbala written by Sayyid Raziuddin Ali bin Musa Ibn Ja'far bin Muhammad Ibn Tawus al-Hilli (r.a.) also known as Sayyid Ibn Tawus.

The book is in three main parts:

• The first part is about the events which took place before the day of Aashura.
• The second part is about the events of the day of Aashura.
• The third part is about the events which took place after the day of Ashura.
